Daily Snacks
Early Years and Key Stage 1 children are provided with fresh fruit or vegetables for their daily mid-morning snack.
Key Stage 2 pupils may bring their own healthy mid-morning snack. We ask parents to support our efforts to encourage healthy eating by providing a fruit or vegetable snack.
School Meals
All Early Years and Key Stage 1 children are entitled to free hot school meals.
Parents of Key Stage 2 children must pay for hot school meals, unless they meet the criteria for Pupil Premium funding. The current daily price for a school meal is £2.80.
Pupils eligible for Pupil Premium funding can receive free school meals until at least the end of primary school.

Aspens
School meals at Shaftesbury Primary School are provided by Aspens. Meals are freshly prepared on site every day.
School meals must be booked in advance and are unable to be booked on the day. Parents can book school meals through their SchoolMoney account.
