Science week
The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the British Science Week 2026, showing great curiosity and enthusiasm throughout. A particular highlight was taking part in a BBC live lesson all about the Moon, where they discovered fascinating facts and had the opportunity to engage in real-time learning. In Year 2, they had the opportunity to see a birds’ nests, sparking thoughtful discussions about how animals build their homes. Inspired by this, the children used their creativity to design and make their own nests, demonstrating fantastic problem-solving skills and imagination. It has been wonderful to see such excitement for science across the school!
